WHAT IS AURA-SOMA AND HOW CAN AURA-SOMA BENEFIT ME?
Aura-Soma ® is a form of colour, energy and soul therapy that supports you spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically.
It's an amazing system for self-knowledge, guidance and transformation. The jewel like Equilibrium bottles have meanings and messages associated with each, that are revealed to you in the consultation.
But they are noT bottles just filled with coloured water, far from it. The carrier oil that sits in the top of the bottle, is the 10th press of organic olive oil. The bottles also contain essential oils from around the world and herbal extracts, many of which are grown at the Aura-Soma biodynamic Farm in Tetford. Shire Farm, is one of the largest biodynamic farms in the UK.
Along with herbs and essential oils the bottles contain liquid crystal tinctures made specially for Aura-Soma in Switzerland. So, the turquoise bottles contain real turquoise, the purple contain amethyst, the pale pink will contain rose quartz etc. In fact, all the bottles contain an array of different crystals.
The beautiful bottles are not just a tool for self-revelation, they can also be used upon the body. The herbal, oil and crystal energies, absorbed by our skin, act on our physical body, and on all other levels of our subtle anatomy. Many bottles help with very specific situations within our life, bringing about potential resolution, healing and change.
WHAT HAPPENS IN AN AURA-SOMA CONSULTATION?
At the start of our session, you will be asked to select just four bottles, then we sit down together and discuss what your choices mean and how they relate to you and your life today.
Your Aura-Soma bottles will be able to tell us about your life’s path, your personality, what drives you, what’s holding you back and what gifts and talents, some you may know but also others that may be dormant, are waiting to be discovered.
The bottles show how you can utilise these gifts to transform difficult situations in your life and move forward. It’s a lovely way to spend an hour or more, devoting time to yourself, in beautiful surroundings, getting in touch with who you really are.

Equilibrium bottles – The core of the Aura-Soma system, Equilibrium was described by Vicky Wall as “the window to the soul”. The dual colored bottles contain natural plant colors, and crystal energies that bring you closer to self-understanding. Pomanders – Day to day life presents us with many challenges which can take their toll – both physically and mentally - from trauma to everyday stress. The same can also be said for the effect on your aura (the colourful electromagnetic field, or light body, surrounding your physical self) which you can restore and re-balance by regularly using an Aura-Soma Pomander. Used to cleanse and refresh the energetic system, the vibrational qualities of the Aura-Soma Pomanders act to re-energise, strengthen and protect your physical, emotional being and aura, empowering you and elevating your consciousness. In addition to restoring balance, these infusions can be used to focus intent on your everyday.

THE HISTORY OF AURA-SOMA AND ITS FOUNDER VICKY WALL
Vicky Wall was a remarkable woman and the founder of Aura-Soma. She was born and raised in England in the 1920’s and was the seventh child of a seventh child who grew up within the mystical tradition of the Kabbalah. Her father was a keen herbalist and taught her the healing qualities of living plants from an early age. She had the gift of being able to see peoples auras but her father encouraged her not to speak of this.
Vicky became a practicing chiropodist, pharmacist and herbalist. By the time she was 70 she was blind and had suffered a heart attack. As her sight dimmed her gift of seeing auras became heightened. She couldn't see a person, animal or plant properly anymore but she could still see their auras.
Deeply spiritual she had been praying for guidance, trying to understand what path her life could now take blind and weakened. Whilst meditating, she received the message, "Go and divide the waters my child!" Vicky was puzzled. "What does that mean? I'm not Moses! I’m blind, so who on earth would I be leading into what promised land?"
Oh the third night of meditating and hearing the same message ‘ Go divide the waters’ she got up went to the room where she still created her herbal lotions, she had been making most of her adult life and using with her clients. She later reported - "other hands had guided her own" - she could see neither the beautiful liquid jewels she had spontaneously and inspirationally created nor their possible intended purpose. Even more bewildering to her was the resonant power she felt emanating from them, as they radiated in the sunlight of the following morning.
“Suddenly, I felt energised, happy, the physical tiredness I had been feeling lifted. The concept of balance came into my mind, as if it had been whispered – a state of balance that is beyond stasis and which is known as Equilibrium. They could be known by no other name. Equilibrium was born and she was beautiful.”
Vicky took these bottles to holistic fairs where she used them to hold up the glass shelves that displayed the various herbal creams and lotions she still made and sold. She found people were drawn the dual coloured bottles. As mentioned although physically blind, Vicky Wall's inner sight was still strong and awake, she saw that people where coming to her with the same energy pattern or "aura-colour" as the bottles they were requesting to hold and take away. People who where drawn to the coloured bottles, felt the urge to take home and apply the oils on their bodies, she trusted this and let them, requesting that they give her feedback on their effect.
The reports amazed her. Someone reported resolving their depression; another person talked about feeling "worthy" again. Long carried conflicts were solved and miraculous healings happened.
Very soon after the "birth" of her Equilibrium system she realised she needed help to find out more about these bottles, and so she invited scientists and experts of colour into her process.
Eventually the Education System of Aura-Soma was created. It is operated by the International Academy of Colour Therapeutics (ASIACT) which is based in Tetford, Lincolnshire, where the bottles are still made and the Academy trains new Aura Soma consultants and teachers. It is also where Aura-Soma grow many of the botanicals used in their products on their farm, Shire Farm. It is one of the largest biodynamic farms in the UK.
Mike and Claudia Booth inherited Aura-Soma from Vicky and have devoted themselves to the continued research and expansion of the company. It truly is a family business along with many others who are all committed to spreading the gifts from soil to soul that Aura-Soma has to offer.
